Growing the girls' game
As Football Development Manager at Bonnyrigg Rose, Jonathan leads the club's development work, and a big part of that is developing women's and girls' football at the club.
It is the same thinking you get in a JB session: every player given a proper pathway, and every player coached as an individual. Two Hibernian FC Women players are on the JB coaching staff.
Jonathan also supports Team United, and it continues to shape the way he coaches.

“You can tell a lot of thought, planning and passion goes into each session from a coach who understands the game as much as Johnny, and he thrives in making it fun and helpful for his youths.”
“Johnny is encouraging, patient, and genuinely passionate about helping each child improve and enjoy the game.”
“Johnny creates an environment for all his players to learn, challenge themselves and try new things, and always keeps it different and fun. If they are willing to learn, you can't get a better coach to help take your child to that next level.”
